In recognition of World Humanitarian Day, on Wednesday Aug 19th, our local Canadian Red Cross office in Truro, located at 139 Truro Heights Rd, will be hosting an open house from 1-4pm. The open house will emphasize the power & importance of volunteering, provide tours of our facility highlighting our key community health programs and share details on specific volunteer opportunities that directly benefit those in our community.
