The Truro & District Lions Club are having their Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 28th at 1100 Prince Street, Truro from 8am to 1pm.  They will be serving pancakes, baked beans, sausages, toast, juice and tea or coffee.  The cost is $10 and for 4-12 - $8 and under 4 are free.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 26 in Truro will be selling a litre of baked beans and 2 dinner roll for $10 at 1pm on Wednesday, April 1st and Thursday, April 2nd in the Lounge until sold out.

United Way Maritimes is launching Menstrual May in 2026. Hundreds of women, girls, non-binary, and transgender individuals in our community experience period poverty. This means they don’t have access to the menstrual products they need because of the cost, where they live, or other social barriers.
